A set of activities and resources for an introduction to Transport and sorting into Land, Sea and Air. The planning sheet includes learning objectives, activities, resources and assessment. Planning can be used for a lesson or unit of work. There are a set of colour flashcards of the 6 vehicles introduced which can be cut out, duplicated and laminated. There is a sheet with space for drawing or pasting vehicles. Sheet 3 is for labelling and colouring. Sheet 4 is to support handwriting and fine motor control. Suitable for EYFS and KS1 children.

A novel idea for a classroom display where all the children contribute, with a link to PSHE. The idea is that the children produce hand prints, either using the outlines included or making hand prints and cutting around these. There are black and white and colour hand prints included. On each hand print, the children write, draw or paste a picture related to helping. Examples of ideas - people that help us, things we can do to help ourselves and others. Use a giant painted hand as the tree and add all the hands as leaves. Very nice for a school entrance where the display can inspire and motivate children.

Have fun with your children this Easter or Spring with this Scavenger Hunt game. The idea is to place your colour posters around the outside area / playground or school for children to locate. They then mark off what they have found on the Scavenger sheets. There is a colour and a black and white version of the recording sheets. There are 16 colour posters included. There are also 16 sheets where there is a colour and black and white picture of each of the items in the hunt e.g. chick, sun, leaf and bee.
